Stephanie Yuhas, sometimes known in the Philadelphia independent film community as “Susie Filmmaker”, is an award-winning creative whose work has been screened in dozens of international film festivals, featured on the front page of YouTube, MySpace, and CollegeHumor, and broadcast on the Nicktoons Network. She graduated with honors from the Philadelphia University of Arts with a BFA in Animation and is a multidisciplinary creative, independent art activist, and community connector.
Yuhas is also the founder of Project Twenty1, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to networking, inspiring, promoting, and exhibiting creatives thorough film and animation programs. She is on the Marketing Committee for Norristown Arts Hill, frequently emcees Street Movies! presented by PNC Arts Alive, and gives lectures at local educational institutions on the topics of film, animation, and film festivals. In addition to her non-profit projects, she is currently working on multiple online web series projects, including “Living in 8-Bits,” “OverAnalyzers,” and multiple Cinemassacre franchises and behind-the-scenes videos. Notable clients she has worked with include Warner Brothers, Johnson & Johnson, Longwood Gardens, and the Philadelphia Zoo.
Stephanie collects pop culture tribute art and unusual earrings and is unable to keep houseplants alive for more than 30 days.
